Opportunity for PDB Teams to Submit Qualifications

The City of Durham, North Carolina Department of Water Management, in its role as the Lead Agency for the Western Intake Partnership, is soliciting proposals from interested and qualified progressive design-build (DB) teams for the Western Intake Partnership (WIP) Regional Water Treatment Facility (RWTF) on the western side of Jordan Lake. The City’s Western Intake Partnership (WIP) Program Manager, HDR Engineering, Inc., will be the point of contact for inquiries relating to this solicitation.

Proposals that are hand-delivered are due no later than 2:00 p.m. on May 15, 2025, to 555 Fayetteville Street, Suite 900, Raleigh, NC 27601. Submissions shall be addressed to Jeff Adkins, WIP Program Manager.

If the Submissions are mailed, they shall arrive no later than 2:00 p.m. on May 15, 2025, and be mailed to the following address:

The City will conduct a pre-submittal conference to be held on April 15, 2025 at 10:00 AM via Teams. A link to attend this conference is provided in the Request for Qualifications.
