Western Intake Partnership Held Development Input Meeting

During the evening of July 20, 2023, the WIP held a community meeting at the Chatham Community Library regarding rezoning of the site for a regional drinking water treatment facility the WIP (Chatham County, City of Durham, Town of Pittsboro and Orange Water and Sewer Authority) proposes on approximately 122 acres on Parcel Numbers 17538 and 17546, near the intersection of North Pea Ridge Road and Seaforth Road. The meeting was required as part of the Chatham County zoning process.

Preliminary site plans and other information were presented, and property owners had the opportunity to speak directly with the project team. The Partnership is planning to submit our official application for rezoning the property to the County Planning Department in the near future.
